Highlights this month for Auckland include:
- house sales of 20,089 in the year ended December 2022 were 38% lower than a year prior, and the lowest since 2011
- business confidence in the December 2022 quarter showed 79% (net) expecting a worsening - the worst since March 2008
- other measures covered: house prices and numbers sold, building consents, weekly rents, employment, unemployment, GDP, retail sales, consumer spending and business and consumer confidence.
