Covid-19: Prime Minister – alert level 3 for Auckland, alert level 2 for the rest of New Zealand

The Prime Minister has announced that Auckland will stay at covid-19 alert level 3 and alert level 2 for the rest of New Zealand until 11.59pm, Wednesday 26 August.
Resource Management Act to be repealed
The Minister for the Environment, David Parker, has confirmed that the Resource Management Act 1991 will be be repealed and replaced by new laws: the Natural and Built Environments Act, the Strategic Planning Act and the Climate Change Adaptation Act
