Older Aucklanders: A quality of life status report

The intention of this report is to trace the multiple dimensions of social and economic well-being among older Aucklanders. It represents an important step in Auckland Council’s response to the implications of population ageing, now and into the future. In 2013, a quarter of all older people in New Zealand (defined here as those aged 65 and over) lived in Auckland, and this group made up just over one in ten Aucklanders.
