General: Sometimes the back-data is recalculated to match latest quarterly real price indices (notably house prices and building consent values), and sometimes it is revised by the data supplier (notably GDP, house sales and prices, and HLFS). So resulting dollar values may differ from previous updates. GDP: In late 2017 Statistics NZ revised recent years' GDP backdata for NZ; this has now (March 2018 update onwards) flowed through to regional estimates
Retail sales: In November 2017 Stats NZ changed the methodology for the Retail Trade Survey for September 2017 quarter onwards; they also revised all back-data from June 2011 onwards.
