The Capacity for Growth Study 2013 technical reports provide a point-in-time snapshot of the potential capacity for Auckland under the provisions of the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan, as notified on 30 September 2013. The 2013 study attempts to quantify how much capacity (residential and business) the region has for accommodating growth under the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan.It measures whether each site has the potential for more development under a selected set of proposed rules. It is not a projection of growth but is an important input for many other projects and models, including growth projections. Auckland Council technical report, TR2014/010.
