Demographics and societyHousingA report on a survey of people living in Auckland's city centre, CBD. At the 2013 census, 26,300 people were living in Auckland's inner city. Most live in apartments, and many are international students. The Auckland Plan identifies the inner city as a priority location for focused attention. On behalf of Auckland Council, Mobius Research organised three focus groups and 886 surveys with local residents, to ask questions on several topics including perceptions of safety, noise and residents' sense of community.
