Sweeping changes have occurred over the last two decades affecting Waiheke Island's landscape, economy, community and politics. Two industries that helped to bring about the changes are tourism and wine. The 'Waiheke project' reveals insights into those industries, centring on questions of social, environmental and economic sustainability.
