An attempt to estimate how many Aucklander's are now employed within green sector jobs: occupations that improve the quality of the region's environment. This paper is based on interviews with industry, and an attempt to 'model' the green sector within an input-output model developed for the Auckland region. The potential for future growth in green sector employment within specific regional industries is also examined.
