The Socioeconomic Deprivation Index is a composite of indicators relating to dimensions of deprivation: Communication, Income, Employment, Qualifications, Home Ownership, Support, Living Space and Transport. Areas are rated from 1 (Lowest relative deprivation) to 10 (Highest relative deprivation).
